# What OmniLore can and cannot do

Plain-language expectations for this install.

## Can do (typical)

| **Chat** with AI assistants | Via Chat (LibreChat) when your account is enabled |
| **Product / fabric questions** | Best in **OmniLore** mode (tools + SoT), not “Auto” alone |
| **Coding help** | Local coding models and tools when provisioned; CoTrinity desktop when licensed |
| **Desktop seat capture** | Screenshot of *your* enrolled computer from CoTrinity and/or Chat when online + granted — [DESKTOP_SEAT_CAPTURE](./DESKTOP_SEAT_CAPTURE.md) |
| **Images** | Create/edit paths when the image plane is available to your role |

## Cannot do (important)

| Limit | Why it matters |

| **Not a guarantee of autonomous production changes** | Sensitive actions stay gated; humans remain accountable |
| **Not unlimited access to all data** | Rights-based membership and ACLs apply |
| **Not a substitute for legal / medical / financial advice** | Assistants can err; public-law tools are practice helpers, not counsel |
| **Not always online at infinite capacity** | Hardware, models, queues, and rate limits apply |
| **Not free shell or unrestricted jobs on a timer** | Schedules and agents stay on allowlisted paths |
| **Not free remote control of every desktop** | Capture needs enroll + agent + grant; no mouse/keyboard remote control |
| **Not “remember forever” without a successful tool** | Ask for schedules or workspace writes; don’t rely on chat memory alone |
| **Not clean enterprise complete in every governance dimension** | Advanced signing / compliance paths may still be maturing (operators track this honestly) |
| **Not a default local frontier video-HQ stack (e.g. MiniMax H3)** | Competitive short video+audio is not the everyday member path; images use the FLUX image plane |
