Agent Builder (members) — create a private agent in chat

Audience: Product members and operators using Chat
Public help: Agent Builder (HTML)
Goal: Get a private, task-specific agent without filling the UI Agent Builder form.

Easiest path (recommended)

  1. Open chat.omnilore.ai and select OmniLore mode (not Quick).
  2. Start a new chat.
  3. Describe the job in plain language, for example:
Build me a private Second Brain for my Gmail and Drive.
What personal agents can you create for me?
Create a help desk agent for password and tier questions.
Preview first — I'll say yes when it looks good.
  1. OmniLore shows a preview (name · tools · model · private).
  2. Say yes / create it.
  3. Open Agents in the sidebar → select your agent → start a new chat.

You do not need recipe IDs or technical tool names.

What you get

| Not elevated | Creating an agent does not raise your membership tier |
| Model | Tool agents use qwen3.6:27b unless a no-tool recipe (e.g. tutor) |

Operators (T2+) can also ask for a forge write / pair programmer agent (branch → write → PR).

If the OmniLore bot is available:

Examples:

Then still open Chat → Agents → your new agent → new chat.

UI form (optional)

Agents → Create still works if you want full manual control (name, tools, model).

Limits (not bugs)

| Symptom | Why |
|---------|-----|
| “Tools forbidden” | T1 cannot attach operator write tools (e.g. forge write, knowledge publish) |
| empty_messages / broken chat | Too many tools — keep agents small; start a new chat |
| Agent not listed | Refresh Agents; ensure you are the same login that created it |
| design_knowledge_forbidden | Expected for operator docs as a product member |
