What OmniLore is
- A host-owned, dual-seat AI operating fabric (control plane + workstation edge).
- A system that separates product truth (disk SoT) from chat coding speed and similarity search.
- A governed tool plane (MCP) with fail-closed gates, membership tiers, and optional private personal corpus.
- Supports personal continuity across chats (session feed, handoff, continuity pack/facts) that stays yours and is not product encyclopedia truth.
- A place for task agents (starter packs) and an IDE edge (CoTrinity) wired into fabric tools and RepoHub.
- Built for operator residual-accepted production operation with honest residuals.
What OmniLore is not
- Not a cloud SaaS control plane you rent (e.g. ChatGPT Enterprise alone).
- Not a claim of clean HOOTL:On or HSM-backed multiparty until the release board says so.
- Not a full public plant encyclopedia of every internal runbook (that stays operator/T2+).
- Not unrestricted shell, dual-envelope image authority, or silent self-admission of production effects.
- Not legal advice (Public Law workflows are public-text orientation only).
- Not a single mixed “agent memory brain” that replaces disk Source of Truth (continuity pack ≠ product definition; use product answers for “what is OmniLore?”).
- Not a promise that empty vector search means “no documentation.”
How answers should be grounded
