Getting started (OmniLore member)
Audience: Product members (employees using Chat / CoTrinity as themselves)
Not for: Platform operators configuring the fabric
What you have
| You can | You cannot |
|---------|------------|
| Chat as yourself (directory login) | See other people’s private chats |
| Use product help tools (product_answer, architecture card when offered) | Browse full platform design / operator runbooks |
| Change your LDAP password via Chat tools | Change another user’s password |
| Keep personal notes in your workspace | Use unrestricted shell or free image/job submit |
First steps
- Sign in with your org LDAP / directory credentials.
- Prefer OmniLore mode (Shared Operator / approved agent) for product questions — it uses fabric tools.
- Run the guided checklist: First 30 minutes with OmniLore (recommended for new members and trainers).
- Ask “What can I do?” or “How do I change my password?” — the agent should use member-safe knowledge and tools.
- Treat AI answers as assistive; follow your org’s acceptable use and verification rules for regulated work.
- Optional: start a project intent card, end sessions with a handoff, use continuity memory (“pack my continuity”), or link personal Google — see PROJECT_INTENT_POSTURE_AND_CONTINUITY and PERSONAL_GOOGLE_CORPUS.
Trainers: full curriculum sequence lives in TRAINING_OUTLINE_PRODUCT_WORKFLOW.md.
Privacy (summary)
- Your Chat history is yours. Other members cannot search it via product tools.
- Platform Owner / security officer may have a legal collection path under policy (lawful process) — not a normal user feature.
- Shared org knowledge is separate from your private chat.

Chat UI guide
Full guide: USER_GUIDE_CHAT_OMNILORE_AI.md — modes (OmniLore / Quick / CodeHub), My Agents, pins, Advanced models, use cases.
Create a private agent (Agent Builder)
In OmniLore mode, say: “Build me a private Second Brain for my Gmail.”
OmniLore previews tools/model, then creates the agent when you say yes.

Public Law Workflows
Practice-shaped public-law agents (Federal, State, Civil Rights, Family Court):
see PUBLIC_LAW_WORKFLOWS.md.
Scheduled jobs (v1)
In OmniLore mode you can ask for timed jobs (for example a daily 2 AM note).
See SCHEDULED_JOBS_CHAT_V1.md — allowlisted kinds only; results go to your workspace files.

CoTrinity (desktop IDE) + RepoHub
If your org licenses the desktop assistant:
- CoTrinity is OmniLore’s trusted programming assistant for VS Code and Cursor (local-first coding help; fabric tools when connected). Tip 1.0.47.
- Optional terminal twin: CoTrinity fabric CLI 0.8.7 (
cotrinity chat, doctor, forge, agent) — COTRINITY_CLI.md. - Prefer VS Code if you do not already use Cursor — no Cursor account required.
- Cursor is supported, but Cursor itself typically requires a Cursor account (OmniLore does not provide one). CoTrinity Chat does not require Cursor Pro.
- Private git is RepoHub (repohub.omnilore.ai), also reachable from Chat CodeHub mode and the Code workspaces rail — REPOHUB_CODE_ACCESS.md.
- Install / host honesty: COTRINITY_IDE.md.
Desktop seat capture (Chat + CoTrinity)
If you set up a seat implementer on your computer, you can:
- Capture the screen from CoTrinity (at the desk), and/or
- Request capture from chat.omnilore.ai while remote (machine online + grant).
Full install and use: DESKTOP_SEAT_CAPTURE.md.
